Marshmallow has a high mucilage content giving it emollient and demulcent properties. Mucilage, when mixed with water, expands to many times its original volume. This can provide a soothing effect that has been found to be of particular use for irritated mucous membranes of the digestive and respiratory systems.

Take two capsules with a meal three times daily. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications.
